What is there when all is lost?  When you've nothing to give...and there's nothing to receive that can stop the longing for salvation?  What then?  Where do the empty find solace?  Salvation is just out of reach and no matter how you reach and strain and struggle, you just can't take it as your own...  Cupid laughs as he plays his sick games while Dionysus sits by, watching uneasily.  Lovers mock, not realizing their own relations will melt away.  Because happiness is a fickle friend...an indecisive bastard child of simple pleasures.
